The composition and application of

Alloy brand С95400 is an aluminum bronze, with a high content of Nickel and iron. Aluminium in combination with iron and Nickel to C95500 acts as a component that improves the strength characteristics of the material. The alloy can be successfully subjected to heat treatment, as a result of which its mechanical properties increase.

Typical applications: automotive — welding plants; in the manufacture of fasteners products — nuts, and large screws; mechanical engineering — bushings, high strength clamps, gears, valves, bearings, clips, saddles and valves, chassis parts, worm gears, machine parts, pressure blocks for steel industry, hooks for pickling installations

Chemical composition of alloy that conforms to the technical requirements of ASTM B505, is as follows:

• Iron — 3…5%;
• Nickel up to 1.5%;
• Aluminum — 10,0 11,5…%;
• Manganese — not more than 0.5%.
• Copper — the rest.

The standard allows that, along with the Nickel in the alloy composition can enter a quantity of cobalt (in the range of percentage of Nickel content). The total number of impurities can not be higher than 0.5%.
